After washing the bite with soap and water, please apply a sterile bandage and use antibiotic ointment everyday to prevent infection. You can also add activated charcoal in the bandage to further help prevent infection. 

If you were able to immediately wash the wound and treat it with topical antibiotic, you should be fine. Otherwise, please consult a doctor if you are concerned about bacteria introduction in the body from the bite. 

Though it may not be necessary, you could take it internally as well. Always consult a doctor if you are taking medications, and be sure to follow the instructions on the label.]]></description>
